Using a Calculator

• 1). Enter the number of miles you wish to convert to kilometres into the calculator.
  
  
• 2). Press multiply and enter 1.609.
  
  
• 3). Press equals for the number of miles you entered in Step 1 in kilometres.
  
  

Using the Web

• 1). Go to a search engine like Google, Bing or Yahoo. These three support conversions within the search interface.
  
  
• 2). Enter “x miles in km” in the search box, where “x” is the number of miles you wish to convert.
  
  
• 3). Press the “Enter” key, and the search engine will work out your conversion and display it above the search results.
