How to Clean a Solid Cover for a Pool
- 1). Remove any leaves, debris or loose dirt from the top of the solid pool cover, using a broom or leaf blower. This will prevent getting dirt into the pool water when you remove the cover.
- 2). Lift the cover off the pool and set it up against a wall on your garage or home. Place the cover at an angle so it does not tip over while you clean it.
- 3). Hose all of the loose dirt off the cover with the garden hose.
- 4). Scrub the surface of the cover clean with soapy water and a sponge. Hose off the soap.
- 5). Let the cover dry out in the sun before storing it away.
