- 1). Prime and glue the cap to one end of the 3-foot PVC pipe. Prime and glue the elbow to the other end of the 3-foot pipe.
- 2). Prime and glue the spigot to one end of the 1-inch pipe. Prime and glue the other end of the 1-inch pipe to the elbow so that it is one "L" shaped pipe.
- 3). Drill two holes using the 1/8-inch drill bit in the top of the cap. Drill four holes using the 1/16-inch drill bit around the diameter of the pipe and 6 inches from the cap.
- 4). Secure the metal dowel to the top and bottom of the fountain using the hose clamps. Make sure that the extra foot of the dowel is at the bottom of the fountain, by the spigot.
