How to Hook Up a Samsung Blu-ray Soundbar for Audio to a TV
- 1). Turn off the SoundBar and your TV.
- 2). Connect an HDMI cable into the HDMI port on the rear of the Blu-ray player. Plug the other end of the cable into one of the HDMI IN ports on the TV. The HDMI cable will carry audio and TV to your TV.
- 3). Insert one end of the optical cable into the Digital Audio OUT jack on the rear of the TV. Plug the other end of the cable into the Digital IN jack on the rear of the SoundBar.
- 4). Turn on your TV and the SoundBar to begin exporting the sound from the TV to the SoundBar's speakers.
