- 1). Dab the wet paint drip with a rag. Try to soak up the paint and remove as much of it as possible while it is fresh.
- 2). Use fine-grit sandpaper to lightly rub off paint drips that have dried on furniture. Sand in a circular motion.
- 3). Gently scrape the paint drip loose with an ice scraper, then wipe the area with a clean rag.
- 4). If an ice scraper doesn't work, use a burred razor blade to scrape the paint loose. Scrape gently and in short strokes. Wipe often with a clean rag.
- 5). Apply a small amount of furniture oil to a clean cloth and wipe the furniture to restore the sheen. Do not use oil if the furniture is not made of wood.
