Widex P38 Specifications
- OSPL 90 refers to the output of the hearing aid when exposed to 90 decibels of sound. Peak OSPL 90 for the Senso P38 is 144 dB for the ear simulator and 138 dB for the coupler. At 1000 Hz, OSPL 90 is 143 dB for the ear simulator and 138 dB for the coupler. At HAIC (Hearing Aid Industry Conference) standard, the output values are 139 dB for the ear simulator and 134 dB for the coupler.
- This hearing aid runs on a 675ZA (1.4 volt zinc air), 600 mAh battery that lasts for 500 hours under regular conditions. The relative telecoil sensibility of this unit is + 3 dB, harmonic distortion is 1 percent and IRIL (input-referenced interference level) is 0 dB at 900 Mhz and 15 dB at 1800 MHz.
- The Senso P38 includes enhanced dynamic range compression that enables the wearer to hear sounds at a natural level. It also includes a sound stabilizer feature that regulates the speed at which sounds are amplified. An automatic feedback manager minimizes unwanted feedback (echo) and it can be programmed using either a PC or a proprietary programming device. In addition, the microphone and telecoil inputs each have their own Sigma-Delta converter. This allows for further interference reduction.
- This hearing aid is available in beige, gray, brown, red, yellow, blue, green and black.
