How to Create Ringtones on Sony Ericsson Phones
- 1). Open your media player on your computer, and load the song that you wish to create as a ringtone. Ensure that your computer volume is unmated and turned up to a clearly audible level.
- 2). Pause the song at the point which you would like your ringtone to begin. Go to your Sony Ericsson phone.
- 3). Navigate to the menu of your Sony Ericsson phone. Select "Media" and then "Voice Recorder" from the media list.
- 4). Place your Sony Ericsson phone close to your computer speaker, and then press "Record" on your phone to begin recording. Press "Play" on your media player directly afterward to begin recording your song onto your phone.
- 5). Press "Stop" on both your Sony Ericsson phone and your media player when you are finished recording the section of the song that you would like to use as your ringtone. Click "Save" on your Sony Ericsson phone, and name your ringtone to save it.
