From the Contacts Screen

• 1). Press the right soft key from the home screen on the Verizon cellular phone. This will bring up the contacts screen.
  
  
• 2). Press the right soft key once more, followed by "Options," and then select "New Contact."
  
  
• 3). Enter the contact's name in the "Name" field.
  
  
• 4). Highlight the field you wish to program a number in. The choices may include mobile and home.
  
  
• 5). Navigate up and down using the directional keys on the phone to program any additional contact numbers.
  
  
• 6). Press "OK" to save the information upon completion.

  Enter the phone number you want to save onto the home screen using the phone's keypad.

From Recent Calls

• 1). Press "Send" from your Verizon cell phone home screen.
  
  
• 2). Scroll up and down using the directional keys to highlight the number you wish to save.
  
  
• 3). Press the right soft key three times to the "Add New Contact" option.
  
  
• 4). Highlight the type of number you want to save from the given options such as home or mobile, then press "OK."
  
  
• 5). Type the name of the person in the "Name" field, then press "OK" to save the entry.
