Toy Products Review and Why I Like Bratz Dolls

Have you seen the Bratz Dolls, yes, they are most likely made in China like everything else, but they are really cool, even for an adult.
Not long ago, I was having a conversation about this with a doll collector small business person in my city, and he took one out of the box and explained the Bratz Doll significance.
Indeed, they are a cut above.
Then not more than a week after learning all about the Bratz Doll Brand, I learned even more in a financial newspaper.
A recent article in the Wall Street Journal on July 27, 2010 entitled; "U Going 2 the Bratz Party? IDK If They're So Popular" by Ann Zuckerman told of how the Founder of the Bratz Dolls won a copyright case with Mattel to regain his exclusive rights to sell the name branded dolls.
Great stuff, the justice system works, or does it.
Let's discuss this, but first go read the article in the WSJ so you have the background to discuss this and understand my comments on another side topic along these lines.
Now then, Bratz is a huge toy brand name, but it obviously loses name recognition and notoriety as time goes on, as one generation of girls is grown and the new doesn't see it as the coolest of cool.
Still, it could be a billion dollar seller.
Trick is to get them on the shelves, and market and brand the heck out of them.
What company needs now is to get a major motion picture to use the dolls or an animation feature or cartoon to make them in-Vogue again.
Well, this is a branding issue, and toys are all about branding, no one in the sector would disagree with that.
Okay so, now the company must bet big and stock those shelves, and hope they sell like hot cakes, otherwise they will all end up at the Dollar Store! If you will recall the Cabbage Patch Dolls and Madam Alexander Dolls sold millions and were considered collector items.
In fact, unless you have a $100 bill ready you can't even touch an un-opened doll today on eBay or Craig's List! Please consider all this.
