Blackberry 8330 Won't Select Links

    • 1). Reset the phone by pressing and holding the "Power" key or the "End Call" key until the phone powers off. Take the battery out of the phone by pushing in the silver metal clasp on the back of the phone while pushing the case up until the case pops off. Grab a corner of the battery and pull it up to take it out. Leave the battery out for at least one minute. Put the battery back in and replace the case. Turn the phone on by pressing and holding the "Power" button.

    • 2). Check the browser settings. Roll the trackball to select the "Internet" icon. Press the Blackberry key. Choose the "Options" menu item. Highlight and select "Browser Configuration." Place a check in the box next to "Support JavaScript," "Allow Javascript popups," "Support Embedded Media" and "Support Style Sheets." Press the back arrow on the phone and click "General Properties." Place a check in the box next to the "Enable cursor in column view."

    • 3). Clear the cache, cookies and browser history by rolling the trackball to select the "Internet" icon. Press the Blackberry key and select "Options." Select "Cache Operations." Roll the trackball to highlight and select the "Clear History" button and the "Clear" buttons for "Content Cache," "Pushed Content" and "Cookie Cache." Press the back arrow key on the keyboard.

    • 4). Update the data profile by rolling the trackball to select the "Options" icon from the main menu. Browse the menu to select "Mobile Network." Press the Blackberry key to select "Start Provisioning."

    • 5). Click the Internet icon on the main menu of the phone. Roll the trackball to highlight a link on the page. Press the Blackberry key. Scroll down the menu to select "Get Link."
