How to Flatten Sheet Copper

- 1). Lay your sheet of copper on a flat surface. Press down hard on a rolling pin, and go over the top of the sheet metal a few times. Flip over the sheet of copper. Go over it with the rolling pin until you have it straightened out.
- 2). Take a piece of sheet copper and place the part that needs straightening between the clamps of a die-cast jaw. Press down on the handle of the die-cast jaw, release the handle and your copper should be flattened. Move the die-cast jaws around the copper until the entire sheet is flattened.
- 3). Use a hammer when flattening a few bumps out of sheet copper. Flip the copper sheet onto the side where the bump is sticking out, and hit the bump with the hammer until the bump is flattened out.
