How to Sync Using MediaMonkey

    • 1). Connect the MP3 player or smartphone to your computer using the appropriate USB cable.

    • 2). Click "Start," type "MediaMonkey" in the search box, then press "Enter."

    • 3). Click "Tools" and select "Options."

    • 4). Click "Portable/Audio Devices."

    • 5). Click the drive letter associated with your MP3 player or smartphone and select "Device Configuration."

    • 6). Enter a name for your device in the "Device Name" field and select the drive letter associated with your MP3 player or smartphone from the "USB Device ID" drop-down menu. If you are not sure what drive letter is assigned to your device, click "Start" and select "Computer." The MP3 player or smartphone will be listed as a removable device with the drive letter displayed in parentheses.

    • 7). Click "OK" to save your device to MediaMonkey.

    • 8). Click the drop-down arrow beside the portable music player icon on the MediaMonkey toolbar and select "Options."

    • 9). Click to check the box beside each multimedia type you want to sync to your device. You can sync music by albums, artists or playlists, as well as podcasts and audiobooks.

      Click "Auto-sync Options" to customize the sync functionality, then click "OK" to save your preferences.

      Click the portable music player icon on the MediaMonkey toolbar to sync your device according to the preferences you configured. You can also drag and drop music from your library onto the MP3 player icon in the left sidebar to manually sync files.
