Reiki Healing Circles May Require Some Rules

Do you hold Reiki circles? Are you wondering if you should send out an open invitation to all that can come? Are your circles overseen by you? Does anything 'go' at your table? When you invite energy workers to congregate for an evening of healing you may find that setting down a few rules will make things run a little smoother.
Many Reiki Masters hold circles throughout the world.
Some only invite their own students, while others send out an open invitation.
Still other energy workers will ask anyone, regardless of their healing modality, to join the group.
There is no right or wrong way to do this, and everyone has there own reasons for setting things up the way that they do.
If you are going to send out an open invitation to practitioners of all modalities, or just Reiki practioners regardless of who they learned their skills from, it may be best to have a few rules at your table.
We have all attended holistic fairs and have witnessed different modalities and their execution.
In Reiki many of us have been taught to leave the drama at home, while others tend to be more physical during a session.
When combining modalities, or even the combination of Reiki practitioners from different lineages, you need to understand the risk.
You may find someone using Quantum Touch® which can use dramatic breathing.
They are not intentionally disrupting things, but rather just using their skills in that modality.
Many Reiki Masters teach flicking of energy and other obvious hand motions during a session.
If you are not wanting these things at your table, you need to limit your list, or lay down some rules.
Obviously you want each person on the table to receive a healing, whatever that may be for them.
Each one will have many experiences, during that time, as a healer and as receiver of the energy.
It really is your job, if it is your table, to keep an eye on things.
Light workers who are new to being around an energy circle are going to be observing the others, whom they may feel are more experienced.
Give guidance to all, mentioning to everyone to set their intention, call in their guides or whomever they choose, remind them of a light touch, dry bathing and being thankful.
A few rules and a little guidance from you should create a wonderful healing time, for all that attend.
This practice will give new practitioners the experience to attend or hold their own circles.
After all, if you are going to teach and send new light workers out into the world, send them with a feeling of acceptance and confidence.
