How to Make a Homemade Birthday Gift Basket for a Guy
- 1). Select a basket that is masculine enough that he can re-purpose the basket for something else later, such as a laundry basket, towel basket or a place to hold his supplies. It should also be large enough to hold all of the gifts you want to give him.
- 2). Line the basket with fabric that sets the tone for the theme of the basket, incorporates his hobbies or displays his favorite color, such as a sports team, balls or blue and white stripes. Cut the fabric to size if necessary.
- 3). Choose a theme for the basket so that each little gift is related to the rest in some way. Each gift you make or purchase should be related to the theme you've chosen.
- 4). Fill the basket with the small assortment of gifts you've collected. This could include DVDs, movie theater tickets, popcorn and movie theater candy for a movie theme. Arrange the items so that he can see all, or at least most, of his gifts.
