How to Convert a Torrent File to MP3
- 1). Highlight the web address for the torrent file you downloaded and right-click. Select "copy." Visit a website that can convert your torrent into MP3 without needing torrent software. An example is Bitlet.org.
- 2). Right-click in the main box on the page and select "Paste." Click "Download torrent." The website will then download the MP3 in the torrent for you. It should appear in your desktop or default download folder.
- 3). Download a torrent program if you prefer to use actual software. Such programs are often free. Examples include Bit Torrent and uTorrent.
- 4). Click on "Download Now" once you get to the download page. Hit "Save As" when that option appears. After the installation file downloads, double-click on it to begin installation. Agree to the license terms, and choose a file directory for the program.
- 5). Find your torrent file on your computer. You can look for it by looking in the "My Computer" folder in your "Start" menu. Double-click on the torrent once you've found it. Your torrent program should automatically give you the option to convert the torrent and begin downloading your MP3.
