Thinning Hair Women- Common Causes

As many females already know, thinning hair can be a problem as the years go by.
And it is not just a handful of women who suffer with thinning hair.
In fact, it is most women who will suffer with this at one time or another.
A common time for this is during the menopause.
At this period, there is an imbalance in the hormones and the normal functions of the body are either sped up or slowed right down.
But this type of hair loss may occur at any other time on some women, not just during the menopause.
There are many known causes of what initiates the hair losing its usual fullness.
Many women experience stress but if the level of stress gets too high, then the body reacts in certain ways.
One of those ways is hair begins to fall out.
And it is the same with any type of physical stress such as illness, rapid weight loss or even too much continued exercise or workouts.
Prescribed medication can have some side effects and one of them may be hair loss.
It will be worth checking with the doctor when starting any new medication to see if this is the case.
Other causes of thinning hair in women include allergies, bad diet, thyroid problems and recreational drugs to name a few.
In some cases, it may be difficult to avoid.
Sometimes it can be down to family genes.
If there is a history of hair loss among the women of the family, then that is a big factor of the chances of it happening to an individual.
With some of these causes mentioned in this article, it is possible to make adjustments in lifestyle which in turn will allow the hair to re grow normally once more.
But in other cases, help in some form may be needed.
There are many options to chose from such as the expensive route of a hair transplant to something more cost effective such as a hair loss treatment you can use at home.
A few good hair treatments do exist that are specifically created for the needs of female hair loss, which is different to male hair loss.
One of the better ones is an FDA approved product called 'Provillus for Women'.
