Reversing the Updates on Your Samsung Intercept
- 1). Pull the back of the Samsung Intercept cell phone off with your fingers. Remove the battery from inside the battery compartment. Let two minutes pass. Return the battery to the battery compartment and close the back.
- 2). Turn the phone over. Press and hold in the button that has an icon of the telephone receiver. Let go of the button when you hear a beep and press the center of the screen to unlock the phone for use.
- 3). Rotate the phone so that you are holding it horizontally with the time noted in the lower right corner. Press down on both bottom edges of the phone to release the keyboard. Pull the keyboard fully out from its compartment in the phone.
- 4). Tap the icon of the web browser that is on the screen. Tap the address bar at the top of the web browser page on the screen. Enter the following, without the quotes or period, in the address bar using the keyboard: “www.sprint.co /activate.”
- 5). Press the “Enter” key on the keyboard. Let the activation screen come up on the web browser. Follow the menu commands to reinitialize the phone. You will need to know your cell phone number and any passwords that you have entered into the cell phone network system earlier in order to complete the activation.
- 6). Let the cell phone activate and update itself through the cellular network. Do nothing until the phone has completed and rebooted itself.
