  When you have a crush on someone, finding a way to tell them you care is a big challenge. If you are afraid to put yourself out there without knowing his or her feelings, use casual methods to show that you are thinking of him. Take interest in his hobbies, give him little gifts, or use the written word to show him that you are interested.
  
  

Sticky Notes

• So maybe you're not the kind of guy who writes poetry or love stories for the one you care about. That's ok; it doesn't take a novel to show her that you're interested. Instead, use sticky notes to let her know you are thinking about her throughout the day. Place a sticky note with a little thought on her locker at school, on her desk at work, or on the hood of her car. Write an inside joke, such as a quote from a movie you both like, or a thought about a conversation you've often had. She will notice the extra attention, but you won't come off as overwhelming or pushy. She will also feel a bond with you and notice your common interests if you point out things you have in common.
  
  

Mixed CD

• CDs are easy to burn, and are an easy way to express feelings without actually saying the words. If you know his favorite music or band, make him a CD full of his favorite songs or top songs from the band he loves. If you are feeling bold, make him a CD of songs that have lyrics that say how you feel. Be sure not to be too sappy; you don't want the gift to be corny. Instead, you want to show that you understand him and care enough about him to take the time to make him a gift. Give him the gift by simply telling him you thought he might like the songs; he will take notice of the attention you are giving him, and he'll definitely realize the effort you put into it when he gets home.
  
  

Fundraisers

• Utilize fundraisers at work or school around holidays such as Valentine's Day or Christmas. If your school or workplace is selling chocolate covered strawberries that you can send to your Valentine, take advantage of that gift and send them to your crush. If they are selling tickets to a dance or another event that you know she wants to go to, buy her tickets in advance and ask for the tickets to be sent to her. With the tickets, include a note that says they are from you, and that you hope she has fun. This is a very thoughtful gift that is sure to be appreciated.
