One way that you can start decorating for an Italian themed party is by placing pictures and posters of Italian architecture and the Italian countryside on your walls. Small, framed photos on the table with grape vines is another way to add to an Italian atmosphere where ever the Italian themed party will be held. Italy is known for its grapevines that lead to the creation of many fine wines. With this in mind, you can always place some real or fake grapes around your table or hang them from pillars to add to the dcor and authenticity of your room.

You can take an Italian flag and drape it over the top of your fireplace if you have one. Otherwise you can always hang it from your wall or even the ceiling. If there is the smell of food cooking when guests walk in along with some Italian music in the background, it will give the house an Italian atmosphere.
