Today's Inspiring Thought: God's Masterpiece

The term "workmanship" here literally means "something of his making," or "handiwork." One commentary explains that the word comes from the Greek poiema, denoting a work of art or a masterpiece.


Imagine that! We are God's masterpiece, created to do good works.

While this ought to make us more aware of how very special we are to God, at the same time, it reminds us that we don't get to take any of the credit. The good works we do in Christ Jesus are a result of God's creative handiwork alone.
