How to Search Facebook by Location
- 1). Point your browser to the Facebook website and log in to your account.
- 2). Position your cursor in the "Search" text field on top of the page and then enter the name of the person you are seeking. Click the "Search" icon to the right of the text field to bring up the "All Results" page. Do not press the "Enter" or "Return" button on your keyboard instead of clicking the icon because it does not bring you to the page that has the location filter.
- 3). Click the "People" link on the left side of the page and then select the "Location" option from the drop-down menu that displays. Type the name of a city or region in the text box and then select the matching result from the drop-down list that automatically appears. This action produces a list of people that match your required location.
