How to Play Bbdim on Ukulele

    • 1). Sit or stand in a comfortable position with the back upright. Hold the body of the ukulele with the right arm by placing it over the front center of the ukulele body and holding underneath with the right hand. Bring the back of the ukulele body close to the body and rest it against the abdomen.

    • 2). Hold the neck of the ukulele in the left hand resting it between the left thumb and index finger. Keep the left thumb and index finger near the string spacer.

    • 3). With the left index finger, hold down the "C" string in the first bar between the string spacer and the first fret. Slant the left hand in an angle, keeping the tip of the left index finger on the C string and not touching the fret or string spacer.

    • 4). Move the left middle finger to the first bar between the string spacer and first fret. Press down the left middle finger on the "E" or bottom string. Keep both the left index and left middle fingers in an angle while pressing the thumb on the back of the ukulele neck. The thumb should be in line with the first bar.

      Hold the assigned fingers down firmly without touching the string spacer, first fret or any unassigned strings. With the right hand over the center of the ukulele body, gently strum all four strings to hear the chord.
