One of the first things you learn when driving in manual transmission is to control the vehicle speed using clutch control. You may have observed that a car starts when the key is inserted and turned, but it does not move until you operate the clutch. The clutch pedal, when completely released, allows for a full contact between engine apply power directly to the driveshaft. The opposite thing happens when the clutch pedal is completely pressed. In such a case, the engine does not form a link with the driveshaft which means no power can pass from the engine to the driveshaft and wheels.
How Does Clutch Control Work
