Breast Cancer and Happiness!
We tend to convince ourselves that life will be better after we get married, have a baby, then another, get a new job, get a new house, etc, etc, etc.
Then, we are frustrated that the kids aren't old enough and we will be more content when they are.
The truth is, there is no better time to be happy than right now! My breast cancer was a big challenge for me, but it also taught me among other things that happiness is living in the moment.
Our lives will always be filled with challenges.
It's best to admit this to ourselves and decide to be happy anyway and right now.
Because happiness it's not waiting for anyone and if you didn't live it in the moment, it will be gone.
Treasure every moment that you have and treasure it more because you shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time with..
..
And remember that time waits for no one! Wake up and smell the coffee, smell the roses.
Life is happening right now.
So, stop waiting...
..
..
until summer ..
..
until fall ..
..
until winter ..
..
until spring ..
..
until you die! There is no better time than right now to be happy..
..
After my breast cancer I Made a conscious decision and chose To Be Happy today and in every moment of my life! Really take a moment and digest this topic, it could change your life.
What are you waiting for? What has to happen before you can pronounce yourself happy? It's true that circumstances change in our life, but circumstances are normal occurrences for us to grow as human beings.
So, if circumstances aren't keeping us from being happy, then what could it be? What could be the key factor in filling our life with joy? The process is the road you travel while pursuing your purpose in life.
In other words, it's the road you travel - paved by whatever you believe in.
Look forward to your travels along the way.
Think about the interesting people you meet and get to know, or the great places you get to travel to, or the interesting things you find out about yourself that you never knew.
That's the quality of life.
When you sit back and reflect upon your life, you can say I feel fulfilled I have no regrets in my life.
Life will be better when you finally surrender.
Surrender to that little voice inside of you that knows what's best for you.
Way down deep in your gut are all the answers you could ever want and need.
Sharpen your gut feelings.
Don't fight the feelings; learn to laugh about it along the way.
"There is no duty we underrate as the duty of being happy.
By being happy we sow anonymous benefits upon the world.
" --Robert Louis Stevenson.
