American and other consumers from around the world can be seen comfortably buying cars, smart phones and other applications from Korean companies. This is because many of the world class admirable car brands belong to Korean auto makers such as Hyundai and Kia. The total sales reached to 137, 396 for South Korean auto makers for the month of May, 2014. This is 2.9% up compared to May, 2013. However interestingly there was a decrease in sales of 7% in May, 2014 when compared to the sales of April, 2014. There is also a big market for used cars for sale globally for Korean cars.

Korean company Hyundai immerged as a market leader with total of 286, 571 sales year-to-dates and enjoys 43% percent of undisputed market share. It gives a good reason why people are interested in cars korea for sale. Even General Motors recently commented that their Spark's design was not only inspired by Korean design but the design team was actually lead by designers from South Korea. GM has been known for developing cars using its global resource. It is the same team that led the development of Chevrolet Cruze and Sonic. To give the drive a major push, South Korea has installed 1,510 charging stations for electric cars across the country. This includes 110 quick charging stations. Kia, a car brand from Korea has exceeded 500,000 units in US alone in over a period of five years. It in fact sold about 510,000 between February 2009 and June. The annual sale of the Korean car maker has soared from 31,000 units in its very first year to 1000,000 by the year 2011. It also made a new sales record by selling 75,000 cars in the first year itself. The Korean car, Kia dominated the market of compact utility cars, in the first year there. Not just that it even outpaced Nissan Cube and MINI Paceman. Korea's Soul won many design awards as well, including the Red Dot award because of its unique boxy shape. Apart from all of this, there is an ever growing market for used cars for sale as well for Korean cars.

This April (year 2014), Australia signed a free trade agreement with South Korea. This is believed to reduce the cost of vehicles for Australian consumers. This action is also triggered because Holden, Ford and Toyota have committed to ending their auto manufacturing in Australia.
