Top Surround Sound Speaker Systems
Choosing loudspeakers is the most difficult part of putting together a home theater system. Besides deciding on brand, price, and style, actually determining what loudspeakers sound the best can be very subjective, as we all have different degrees of hearing ability and personal taste as to what sounds good. To top things off, there are hundreds of good quality branded loudspeakers that can do the job. Check out some examples of my current favorites that you might want to consider.
If you are looking for a speaker system that is fairly compact, but delivers high-end sound, check out the Anthony Gallo Classico Speaker System, featuring their compact CL-2 bookshelf speakers, along with their CL-C center channel and CLS-10 10-inch powered subwoofer. The Classico series look like traditional "box-style" speakers, but utilizes some of the same technology that Anthony Gallo utilizes in their popular spherically-shaped speakers. These speakers provide excellent performance across the entire frequency range, providing depth and detail that is perfect for both movie and music listening - Definitely worth consideration.

The PSB Imagine Series mini and mini c loudspeakers are well engineered to deliver great sound from a compact form factor. I was sent four minis and a mini c center channel, along with the PSB SubSeries 200 10-inch subwoofer for review. I found the sound of the speakers to very full and well defined, although there is some slight subtleness on the very high frequencies.
On the other hand, the mini and mini c transitioned very well the SubSeries 200, and the entire system performs very well with movie and music listening tasks. If you are looking for a speaker system that is compact, but delivers big sound, definitely consider the PSB Imagine mini Series speakedrs in combination with the PSB SubSeries 200.

The EMP Tek Cinema 7 compact home theater speaker system delivers great sound. The system consists of a compact center (E3c) and satellite (E3b) bookshelf speakers paired with a 10-inch powered subwoofer (E10s).
