Blogging - How to Write a Post With Great Networking Effects
As a blogger, my first issue was only writing enough quality material to fill my own blog.
Then, I started to understand that all the other blogs out there, especially those in the same niche as I am, are not only competitors, they can become colleagues and sometimes, good friends.
If you stop seeing all the blog jungle as filled with adversaries and you start looking for networking possibilities you certainly will make your blogging task easier, funnier and, in the end, more profitable.
Here is one of the quick tip I used to set up this networking strategy.
It can be described in the following steps.
1) Define your niche Be clear about your blog's subject.
If you clarify it with yourself at first, it will be clearer for your readers too, and you will get more and more of them.
They will come more easily and they will be more targeted.
2) Choose 5 to 10 blogs in your niche Make a search for other blogs in your niche.
Surf them and choose a certain number of them (5 to 10) among the ones you like the most, the ones that are similar or complementary to your subject and style.
You could structure your choice the way you want, collecting some blogs which offer content that cannot be found on your own blog.
3) Write a "list" post Write a post about the blogs you selected, giving a short description for each one of them and linking to their home page.
Linking to them is a way to tell them you like their content and this could get you noticed by their webmasters.
Following these steps, you will set up a net of future business relationships and friendships, which will help you and your blog to grow stronger.
