- 1). Right click on the MP3 file and select "Open With" from the context menu.
- 2). Click the "Windows Media Player" link to open the MP3 in the Windows Media Player application. The MP3 file will begin to play, once loaded.
- 3). Click the down arrow under the "Rip" button on the top navigation bar.
- 4). Select "More Options" from the context menu. The Rip Music dialog box will appear.
- 5). Click the "Change" button to change the location for saving the new WMA file.
- 6). Select one of the Windows Media Audio options from the Rip Settings section of the dialog box.
- 7). Check the "Copy Protect Music" option.
- 8). Click the "OK" button to save the MP3 file as a protected WMA file.
- 9). Open the WMA file in Windows Media Player to test.
