• The LX featured a 2.3-liter, in-line, four-cylinder engine with 105 horsepower at 4,600 rpms. Engine torque was rated at 135 pound-feet per 2,600 rpms and the compression ratio was 9.5-to-1. • The LX 5.0L and GT convertibles both had a 4.9-liter, V-8 engine with 225 horsepower at 4,200 rpms. The engine torque was 300 pound-feet at 3,200 rpms and the compression ratio was 9.0-to-1. The bore and stroke came out to 4 inches and 3 inches. Engine displacement was 4,949 cc, and a five-speed manual overdrive transmission came standard.
