- 1). Ensure that the faucet where you want to connect the hose is turned off. Rotate the handle clockwise to turn off the water.
- 2). Locate the metal coupling on the end of the hose. The hose that will be connected to the faucet has a freely spinning coupling at one end.
- 3). Thread the coupling onto the end of the faucet spout. Turn counterclockwise to tighten the coupling.
- 4). Connect a sprayer, sprinkler or any other attachment that requires water to the end of the hose.
- 5). Turn the water on by turning the handle counterclockwise.
