How to Setup Web UI for Utorrent
- 1). Download WebUI.zip, and place it in the "%AppData%\uTorrent" directory. Open uTorrent.
- 2). Go to "Options," then "Preferences," then "Web UI." Click the radio button to enable "Web UI." Enter a username and password. Change the port or restrict access only to trusted IP's for an added level of security.
- 3). Open a Web browser on another computer, preferably one in a different network. Type in "http://yourip:8080/gui/". Replace "yourip" with the IP on your router, and "8080" with the port you specified if you chose to use a custom port. When attempting to connect to the GUI on the same local network, use "http://127.0.0.1:8080/gui".
