Instructions for How to Clean a Coleman Dual Fuel Stove
- 1). Remove the fuel tank.
- 2). Remove all the fuel from the fuel tank. Set the fuel tank aside.
- 3). Remove the screw from the middle of each burner and lift out the burner rings and bowl.
- 4). Clean the manifold, grill, burner rings and bowls with warm, soapy water.
- 5). Use a high-pressure hose such as one at a car wash to clean the manifold, grill, burner rings and bowl if your stove has a heavy buildup of grease and dirt.
- 6). Dry thoroughly before putting the stove away. Water left inside the stove can lead to rust. If you used a high pressure hose to clean the stove, store it upside down so all the water is sure to drain from the manifold.
- 1). Remove the fuel tank.
- 2). Remove all the fuel from the fuel tank.
- 3). Fill the fuel tank halfway with denatured alcohol.
- 4). Allow it to sit for 24 hours.
- 5). Shake the tank and pour out the alcohol. Rinse the tank with fresh Coleman fuel and refill the tank with fresh fuel.
