How to Load Symbols in MultiCharts Quote Manager for a Barchart

- 1). Open the data you want to turn into a bar chart in MultiChart Quote Manager. If you have already created the chart, close it. You need to load the symbols before you build the chart.
- 2). Select the box with the written-out stock, bond or fund name.
- 3). Select “Symbol Lookup” from the “Tools” menu.
- 4). Select the stock name from the left-hand column. If you have it properly formatted in your data, it should be selected already.
- 5). Select the symbol from the right-hand box and click “Add.”
- 6). Repeat Steps 2 to 5 for any other symbols you wish to load. The program offers no way to load them all at once.
- 7). Create the bar chart. The symbols’ usage in the data sheet will be reflected there as well.
