Facial Skin Care For Men - An Effective Routine

Majority of males will develop the need for a skin care routine for themselves when they are in their teenage years.
Blemishes, acne and other facial problems that may put off the opposite gender is the reason for these routines, but men in general will ignore moisturizing and toning their skin and this in turn will lead to the problems they experience.
Many people go thorough with the wrong process of skin care.
Before you acquire any facial products you must first have to realize what type of skin you have.
Women find this to be quite an easy procedure to follow through with; however men become too confused in this respect.
This is an incorrect notion.
There are different types: oily, dry, normal, sensitive or even a combination of some of them.
Normal skin: You will have small pores and the overall tone will be even.
If you have not given a second thought about it, then it probably is normal type.
Oily skin: You will experience a slight greasiness to your face.
You will have large pores which are prone to get clogged.
You may even have issues with acne, pimples, blackheads and whiteheads.
Dry skin: It will feel scratchy and tight.
Winter is probably the worst season for you, it may feel rough and thinner than normal.
It may even get irritated quite easily.
Sensitive skin: It is prone to temperature extremes, sun, shaving creams, and perfumes and in some cases even soap.
Be sure to avoid those products that have perfumes, dyes and unnecessary chemicals.
Combination skin: is one that has two or more types such as oily and dry etc.
Once you know the your type, you can then figure out a suitable men's facial skin care procedure.
Wash you face twice a day.
Facial cleansing will enable you to remove debris and perspiration from your face in the morning after a good night's sleep and in the evening it will help to clear your face of pollutants and sweat.
You can also enhance the results by using an herbal soap.
Then its time to tone it, however if you have sensitive or dry skin then avoid this step.
Since toners have a bit of alcohol in them, they might irritate.
Other types however can benefit from a non alcoholic toner.
Moisturizing is the next step and again, you must use a moisturizer that is good for you.
If you are under the sun then enlist the help of a moisturizer that has SPF 15 so that it will also act as a sunscreen.
This will make it much easier for you as you will not have to trouble yourself with the use of another product.
