How to Create a Spring Wreath

    • 1). Cover the foam wreath base with Spanish moss and secure it in the back with floral pins. Make sure the entire base is covered and none of the foam is visible.

    • 2). Trim the silk flowers and leaves from their stalks. Leave approximately an inch of stem to work with on each.

    • 3). Glue the flowers and leaves in alternating patterns around the wreath with a hot glue gun. Work down from where you started so the flora can overlap the previous layer as you go. Continue all the way around the wreath.

    • 4). Fill in any open spaces on the wreath with leaves or smaller flowers so that the wreath is uniform and completely filled in on the front and sides.

    • 5). Glue several butterflies onto the wreath. Choose spots where they will show up without being the main focus.

    • 6). Loop 8 inches of ribbon in half and secure the ends to the top backside of the wreath with floral pins. Hang your wreath and enjoy.
