How to Recover a Product Key for Office 2004 for a Mac
- 1). Click your Mac HD icon on the desktop.
- 2). Open the Applications folder by clicking the "File" menu option at the top of the desktop. Choose the "New Finder Window" option and click the Applications folder.
- 3). Insert a USB thumb drive into an open USB port. Allow the Mac to mount the drive's image to your desktop.
- 4). Locate the Microsoft Office 2004 folder and drag the folder to the USB drive. Eject the USB drive and pull it out of computer.
- 5). Open the Applications folder on the new computer. Insert the thumb drive into an open USB port on the new computer. Drag the Microsoft Office product to the Applications folder.
