- 1). Set the iron upright on a stable surface and turn the "Steam Control" knob to the "Dry" setting.
- 2). Lift up the lid on the water tank and fill the water reservoir with cool water up to the "Max" mark on the water tank.
- 3). Set the iron on the base and plug the power cord into the side of the iron as well as a power supply.
- 4). Turn the temperature control knob to the desired steam and temperature setting and allow several minutes for the iron to warm up.
- 5). Set the fabric item that is to be ironed on an ironing board and use your hands to smooth out the fabric surface.
- 6). Set the iron on the fabric and move in a constant, steady movement over the item. Push the "Steam Burst" icon button to send more steam onto the item while ironing.
- 7). Set the iron on the base every 30 to 40 seconds to reheat. When finished, turn off and unplug the iron. Leave it on the base to cool completely before storing.
