Stanley Safari Lodge – Unmatched Accommodation

Therefore accommodation in close proximity to the Falls dominates the area, all of which are exquisite through the envisioned experience that they wish to provide, but Stanley Safari and Lodge is truly exceptional in this regard.

The lodge is situated only three kilometres from the Falls and through the open-plan structure of the main building and each of the rooms, your views will be unmatched; you will be able to almost feel the spray of the "smoke that thunders", complemented with views of the Zambezi River and legendary African sunsets. The lodge boasts 10 rooms that have all been individually designed to enhance your taste of the African culture. Four of the rooms are suites (a honeymoon and a family suite), which have a private plunge pool, lounge, bedroom and full bathroom.

The remaining six rooms are cottages and have been built in an apt "safari style", which includes being constructed from natural materials. One of the cottages does not have an open-structure like the other five; these rooms are fully equipped with everything that you could possibly need and whether you have a deck or terrace, you will still be able to bask in the magnificent, panoramic view of the Zambezi River and the surrounding vista.

The lodge offers a number of activities that are sure to appeal to everyone. Like all the other hotels and lodges, they offer a tour to the Victoria Falls, but in addition to that, you can take a helicopter or microlight trip, giving you an unparalleled aerial view of the Falls.

There are also wildlife safaris as well as activities for the adrenaline-head such as bungee jumping, jet-boating, quad-biking and clay pigeon shooting.

Another unique aspect that separates this lodge from any other is that they believe in a system through which you are able to enjoy your dinner in any part of the lodge. If you are a wine connoisseur and enjoy the quiet ambiance and oaky smell of the wine barrels, then the wine cellar is your perfect dinner destination. However, the most spectacular spot is definitely enjoying world-class cuisine with a little bit of the spirit of Africa mixed in,  in the Infinity Pool; a shallow pool that allows you to enjoy your dinner barefoot, with the turquoise water gently flowing under the soles of your feet, complemented by the starlit sky – truly an experience that cannot be missed.
