It is wrong to think of losing weight as a huge task that you must slave to accomplish.

That is the bodily function which stores food as fat or convert it into energy.
For rapid weight loss you obviously want your metabolism to perform the latter function more than the former.
Being on a diet, you want your metabolism to convert your food intake into energy instead of fat.
That way you can burn away your fat pounds and previous fatty deposits, easily.
I recommend abandoning fat diets because of this reason too.
They cause a reduction in your metabolism and inhibit its efficiency later.
To make sure your diet is healthy and gives good results, it is best to consume fat-burning, nutritious foods in such a way that they increase your body's fat burning hormones automatically.
This will skyrocket your metabolic rate.
