    Adding Window Tint

    • 1). Wash the vehicle's windows with the window cleaner. Dry the windows completely using the lint-free towel.

    • 2). Using the window chisel, remove any debris that may be still on the window. Do this by gently scraping the window with the chisel.

    • 3). Completely roll down the window. Remove the window's weather strip. The strip should come off easily; you may need to use a window jam.

    • 4). Roll up the window to one-half inch from the top. Wet the inside of the window completely.

    • 5). Remove the window tint from the film, and apply a liberal amount of water to the sticky side. Apply the sticky side of the film to the inside of the window. Line the tint film up with the top of the window and push down between the jam.

    • 6). Secure the top of the film by using the hard card to smooth out the bumps. Hold the tint in place with one hand and use the hard card to smooth out the film; remove excess water by squeegeeing the water from the center of the tint and pressing outward. Roll the window all the way up to get the bottom of the window.

    • 7). Roll down the window all the way and reapply the window weather strip, which should snap back on without difficulty. Roll up the window and check that the tint is still smooth. Leave the window rolled up for three days before rolling back down.
