How to Load Movies Onto an MP3 Player
- 1). Plug your MP3 player into your computer with the USB sync cable.
- 2). Open your device's software. iPod users will have to use iTunes, Zune users can use the Zune Media Manager software, and Creative Zen users can use the Creative Console software.
If you have a player that does not have its own software or you prefer not to use it, click on "My Computer" and then click to open your device (you will not be able to transfer this way on iPods and iPhones). You can download your devices software by going to the manufacturer's website. - 3). Find your video tab in your software window. In iTunes you will want to click on "Movies" under your device name. For Zune software users click on "Video" at the top of the window. For Creative Zen device owners click on the filmstrip icon in the Creative Console software.
- 4). Drag and drop your movies into the Video or Movie tab. For Creative Zen users you will have to upload movies manually to the Library by selecting "Watch Folders" then browsing your computer to find the file. Then select "Transfer."
If you have no software, you can drag and drop your movie file into the device from "My Computer." Some devices, such as Sony MP3 players, will have a designated "Video" folder, drop your movie inside that folder. - 5). Allow the movie to download completely before you unplug your device.
