How to Remove a Plastic Bed Liner
- 1). Remove any items that are in the bed, placing them away and to the side. Then drop the tailgate and look around the inside of the bed to find out how your bed liner is installed. Most are held in by screws, but some are kept in place by gravity. Either way, the tailgate liner will always have some method to secure it in place, be it Velcro or screws.
- 2). Unscrew all of the screws holding down the bed liner using a phillips-head screwdriver. If the liner is held in place by Velcro, pull down the sides of the bed liner to free the liner from the Velcro.
- 3). Fold the sides of the liner toward the middle, and then pull from the tailgate back to pull the liner out of the bed. Once it's out of the bed, if there is any Velcro present, use your hands to pull off the Velcro strips.
