Tap the “Email” icon on the Android-powered phone. The Email app launches.

Tap the “Menu” softkey to show the Email Options screen. Tap “Settings.” A list of configured email accounts displays.

Tap the account to edit. The Email Account Settings screen for the selected account displays.

Tap the “General Settings” option. The General Settings screen opens.

Tap the “Use Signature” option to uncheck the option. The Verizon signature will no longer be appended to outgoing email messages sent from the phone. To edit and use a custom signature, tap the “Signature” option to open the Edit Signature” screen. Type your message into the Edit Signature input box, and then tap the “Save” option. Leave the check box next to “Use Signature” checked. Your message will be appended to future outgoing email messages sent from the phone.
