Does Article Marketing Really Work? Article Marketing absolutely works, but you have to do it right.
I am going to share with you how effective this marketing method really is in the hopes of sparing you a few very costly and stupid mistakes I made in the past, because of my lack of understanding of how powerful this form of marketing really is.
The first article I ever wrote got tons of traffic and views though I don't know how, since I didn't even know what I was doing at the time.
The first mistake I made was this - I did not research my keywords or key phrases.
I was actually lucky that this article did so well.
My first article was Effective Exercises For Pear Shaped Women.
Here are the results for this article: It got over 12,000 views, resulted in almost 600 clicks, got published in over 70 places online and resulted in almost 700 profile views.
Now remember, I was a complete newbie to article marketing and didn't know what I was doing.
I just wrote about a topic that interested me.
This particular article was published over 70 times on many sites online, including high traffic sites.
Had I known the power of writing articles to generate traffic and leads, I would have been more careful.
Here is the costly mistake I made and I hope to spare you from: I didn't understand about links and generating traffic.
I got impatient and moved on to other ways of generating leads.
My bad thinking led me to believe that Article Marketing was way too slow a process for generating leads and generating traffic.
At the time, I also moved on to another business opportunity and let the URL's I posted in the resource boxes to expire.
Result? I lost out on tons and tons of traffic, leads and potential sales.
In fact, that article still gets tons of traffic even after three years! So does Article Marketing work? Absolutely it does.
Since then, I've learned a few things about article marketing and am definitely more careful to make sure my links are working and my resource box at the bottom of the article updated.
So how can Article Marketing help you generate tons of traffic, leads and potential sales to your business? For starters, if your article is interesting and gives a solution to a particular problem you are addressing, other sites will publish it on their sites.
How does this benefit you? It benefits you in a major way.
This is one of the major ways you will receive traffic and leads.

Now do you see what a dumb mistake I made because of lack of information and knowledge? You want to make sure you have working links in your articles.
