How to Do a Weave With a Bang
- 1). Shampoo, condition and blow-dry your hair.
- 2). Part a 1-inch section of hair in the front of the hair and clip. This will be used as part of your bangs.
- 3). Braid your hair in cornrows in a circular motion, starting from the nape of the neck and ending at the crown of the head. You will have a tail of hair remaining.
- 4). Place the track against the head, starting at the nape of the neck. Extend the weft from ear to ear. To glue the wefts, place the glue on each weft and apply it to the scalp, ensuring that there is no contact with the glue and your natural hair. To sew the wefts, place each weft on the braid and insert a threaded needle through the hair and the weft, then back through. Cut the excess weft once you have reached the opposite ear.
- 5). Sew or glue your weft hair from ear to ear until you reach the temples. Sew or glue your tracks in a circular motion until you reach the crown of your head.
- 6). Place the final weft around the tail of your braid at the crown of your head. Unbraid the tail and comb over the weft to hide the tracks at the crown of your head.
- 7). Sew or glue the remaining weft hair to your braid for your bangs. Comb the hair reserved for the bang over the weft to conceal the track. Trim your bangs and style as desired.
