How to Get Rid of Subtitles on VLC Media Player

1Start the video file in VLC Media Player.

Click on "Video" in the top menu and select "Subtitles Track." Several different options may appear in the box, as some videos have several different subtitle tracks embedded.

Choose "Disable" to turn off the subtitles. The subtitles should disappear from the screen immediately.
