Hollywood movies for children have gained a special place in the hearts of the movie lovers. These films are ideally loved by all age groups for their innocent charm and timeless message of love, goodness, magic, fun and laughter.

Lion King:

Directed by Roger Allers and Rob Minkoff, and released by Walt Disney Pictures, Lion King was released in the year 1994. This animated and musical English movie for children tells the story of the young lion cub 'Simba' and his growing up through several challenges, to become the Lion King. He eventually saves Pride Lands from being conquered by his evil uncle 'Scar', and seeks vengeance from him for his father's murder. This wonderful English movie for children features a gamut of voice cast including Matthew Broderick, James Earl Jones, Jeremy Irons, Jonathan Taylor Thomas and Moira Kelly. The songs of the movie are written by Elton John and Tim Rice and the movie won the Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture.

Harry potter series:

Adopted from the famous Harry Potter novels written by J.K. Rowling, each of Harry Potter movie series has been a breathtakingly successful. This British-American feature film series was distributed by Warner Bros. and include a bunch of 8 fantasy films which tell the story of the magical world of witches and wizards and their equally magical encounters with the forces of good and evil. The first of the series called 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone' was released in 2001 and the last one of the series called the 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2' got released in 2011. The series starred by Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, saw unmatched success throughout and had 4 directors working on them, namely Chris Columbus, Alfonso Cuaron, Mike Newell and David Yates.

Kung Fu Panda:

Produced by Dream works Animation and directed by John Wayne Stevenson and Mark Osborne, Kung Fu Panda was released in the year 2008 and was distributed by Paramount Pictures. This famous English movie for children has voice artists like Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman, Angelina Jolie, Ian McShane, Lucy Liu, David Cross, Seth Rogen and so on. The plot of the movie revolves around Po, the Panda who aspires to be the Kung Fu Master and is destined as the chosen one to bring peace to the land. The story beautifully unveils the messages of self-confidence, faith in one self, courage and determination which comes from the goodness that lies within. The music of the movie was composed by Hans Zimmer.

Jumanji:

This Hollywood fantasy adventure movie was released in the year 1995 and was directed by Joe Johnston. Based on the popular 1981 picture book of the same name by Chris Van Allsburg, the movie stars Robin Williams, Kirsten Dunst, Bradley Pierce, Bonnie Hunt and so on. The plot revolves around an ancient African magical game which materializes the characters of the game alive and out in the real which create havoc in the players' lives. The game brings out all the wild animals from the jungle along with some creepy creatures, monstrous plants and hazardous situations, which the players have to deal with till they finish up the game completely to end the phenomenon. Distributed by TriStar Pictures, the musical score of the movie is composed by James Horner.

Jurassic Park:

Directed by none other than Steven Spielberg, this 1993 Hollywood movie is still a favourite for children and adults alike. Starring Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldman, Ariana Richards, Richard Attenborough and so on, the movie is a successful adoption of the 1990 novel of the same name written by Michael Crichton. The plot of the story talks about a wildlife park of cloned dinosaurs created by a billionaire philanthropist and a small team of genetic scientists. The film was the most successful hit of the time and was critically acclaimed far and wide. The movie had created a benchmark when it comes to the usage of computer-generated imagery.
