As a human being in the teaching industry, I would like to ask a question to parents out there: "Is it really worth going to a home tuition or tuition center?" Seeing the enormous popularity of this issue among the parents, I am addressing this topic here. Every time I ask parents for their view, I will mostly get their direct answer that tuition centers are better.
Why? For the reason that they are extra expensive, they have many students or since the teachers there will be experienced & qualified. Let me make it clear that why this answer is disturbing.
First: the price of tuition. The significance of education cannot be underestimated especially in a world of explore and invention. But, this is certainly not a good reason for the misconception that the most costly is absolutely the best. There are numerous parents who have been dissatisfied by the performance of their kids after sending them for the 'best tuition in the town'.
It is important to know that what works for someone's child may not work for yours. It is always sensible to wait for the different suggestions for improving your child's grades instead of depending solely upon the tuition centre.
Second: tuition centre have a lot of students. This is the reason tuition centers always prefer to take their classes in big groups but on the other hand home tutors teach students alone and they take the students classes in their home only. At tuition centre, you will not able to know the genuine number of student's tuition agencies and teachers have under their charge. The information is always changing in real time.
Last: at present, there are no rules & regulations to make sure that the teachers at tuition centre are actually qualified and experienced. And, is there any way for you to verify the teacher's certificates? Probably not. Today tuitions have turned out to be a business. In other words, parents are trusting blindly on teacher's qualification and they are giving a lot of money at their own risk.

The judgment between the home tutors and tuition centers is improbable to end and it's totally depends on its suitability for your child. Go for reliable tutors at reasonable rates, or prepare your children for self study as it is a best option for their career instead of paying a heavy price on tuitions
