The first step is to direct yourself to www.facebook.com. Once you are at the facebook website, you will see an area for new users. The image here shows what you should expect. - 2). Here, you choose an email address, password, and provide some quick information such as your gender and birthday. Provide the required information to facebook, and then click "Sign Up"
- 3). Now that you have filled in the facebook registration form, you will receive an email in the mailbox you provided. Go to your email client, and click on the facebook email message. Here, you must click the provided link to verify that you provided a working email address.
- 4). This link should automatically redirect you back to facebook where you can finally log in for the first time. Use the email address and password you chose earlier. You should now be logged into facebook!
- 5). Facebook can be very overwhelming, especially for first time users. Key things to note is the Search bar on the top right corner of the website. Here, you can begin your search for friends! An Advance Search option is also available if you are trying to find someone in particular.
- 6). The "Profile" tab is where you can provide information about yourself, post images, etc. This is what people will see when they search your name.
- 7). The "Home" tab is where you will see constant updates of all of your facebook friends. This is a great area to browse around if you are bored or want to quickly see what your friends are up to!
