Power 90 Vs P90x - What" s The Difference?

Everyone today has heard of the P90X workout system because it is currently the number one fitness/weight loss system on the market. But what a lot of people don't know is that the P90x is actually a second version of its original, which is the Power 90. Once people learn of this fact, they go searching for a comparison of Power 90 vs P90x. When people realize that there are two versions, they need to know what the differences are between them so that they can determine which version is best for them.

When comparing Power 90 vs P90x against each other, it is really all about which one is best for your present condition. The Power 90 is actually aimed at people who have not been able to exercise in a long time, which means that it is less intense than the workouts that can be found in the P90x system. The P90x is actually meant for people who have already finished the Power 90 system and are looking for more. The P90x is more intense, and takes more time to finish.

The good thing about these workouts is that you can use them one after the other, all without having to buy new equipment. They both use the same equipment; all that differs is the regimen and the length and intensity of the workouts. Some people, who aren't aware of the Power 90 system, really struggle in the initial phases of the P90x program. Fortunately, if they continue on with the program, they eventually get to the point where they can complete the 90 day plan and experience the full health and weight loss benefits that the P90x program offers. But others find the beginning of P90x too challenging (especially if they haven't exercised for years) and give up on the plan. If they knew about the Power 90 program, they would be able to use it as a "stepping stone" and be much better prepared for taking on the tougher P90x fitness plan.

The Power 90 concentrates on the sculpting of the body, with the thighs, abs, and upper body being the main focus. This then involves a lot of circuit training, and the workouts are fast and effective. These workouts last for as little as 35 minutes per day, and are also behind the principle of muscle confusion.
The P90x on the other hand run for much longer, the longest being the Yoga workout that can run for as long as 90 minutes. It is a more advanced workout that involves things like an hour long session of push-ups and pull-ups. If you believe that you are not ready for a workout this intense, then the Power 90 is better for you.

In the end, it is not a question of which is better, but rather it's a question of which is better for you. If you haven't exercised for a long time and are looking for a way to lose weight and to continue living healthily, then using the Power 90 workout and then moving up to the P90x workout right after is the best way to achieve this. That way, you give yourself six months to move from overweight and unhealthy, to ripped and the ultimate version of yourself, forget about thinking about Power 90 vs P90x, but instead, use both of them one after the other.
